Eligibility Requirements to Hold Future Dog Shows
The new AKC requirements were included in the most
recent Bulletin. If you have not reviewed them
please go to the Bulletin and read them through.
It has been brought to my attention that there is
a piece missing from that information and that is
the Statement of Compliance. The AKC will require
that a Statement of Compliance be submitted with
each application for any show held after January
1, 2009. The Statement of Compliance can be found
at
HERE and is to be completed and signed by a
Club officer.

You can now subscribe to the GDCA Newsletter and
receive all the updates for a 2 week period in one
short message, sent to your email address
(subscribe on left menu).
We
will have multiple email lists. One for the
general public, Club Secretaries and those Groups
we find that need to be created to disseminate
specific information. Some of these Groups will
not be open to the general public.
To start, we will send out announcements on a
bi-weekly basis. Announcements will be short with
direct links to more information on the website.
Of course, one can unsubscribe at any time.
The Great Dane Club of America hopes that everyone
will participate in this 21st Century method of
timely communication to the Great Dane fancy. |

We
have all lost a valued and loving Great Dane
friend. An "In Memory" section has been added to
our
Veteran's Photo Gallery to honor those
Great Danes who have passed away.
Please feel free to submit a photo, include the
Great Dane’s name and owner/s name, a short
commentary, and if you wish, your email address,
so friends may contact you. You must be a member
of the GDCA or one of the Affiliate Clubs to
participate. |

Regarding all reservations made with the Executive
Inn:
Your deposits have not been charged to your credit
cards, this includes the Hotel and RV sites. The
Executive Inn has not charged anyone for a
reservation. When a new site is selected and
approved, it will be posted immediately on the
GDCA website, which will also include the new site
and hotel information.
