– Breeder of the most Conformation Champions finished in given year.
Register of Merit Breeder:
– Breeder of 4 or more Register of Merit Sires and/or Dams. If you qualify please contact the Awards Chairperson
Top Junior Handler:
– Highest points achieved in Junior Showmanship competition in given year.
Member Pin (25 year or 50 year)
– will be tabulated by the GDCA and awarded at the annual Awards Dinner
The following awards are based on dogs having more than one score. Highest Average Score wins. Ties will be broken by highest Individual Score, further ties broken by greatest number of scores, and remaining scores broken by best average percentage under SCT (for Agility). In events that include multiple classes, all classes will be combined in tabulation provided the dog has more than one score in each class being used to calculate award

Top Great Dane – Open Obedience:
– Highest average score achieved in Open Obedience competition in given year. (classes eligible: Open A, Open B)
Top Great Dane – Utility Obedience:
– Highest average score achieved in Utility Obedience competition in given year. (classes eligible: Utility A, Utility B)
Top Great Dane – Novice Agility:
– Highest average score achieved in Novice Agility competition in given year. (classes eligible: Novice A Std, Novice B Std, Novice P Std, Novice A JWW, Novice B JWW, Novice P JWW)

Top Great Dane – FastCAT:
– FastCAT has been added to the list of annual awards starting in competition year 2019. Fastest Dane whose owner is a GDCA member gets an annual award, if there is one
GDCA AWARDS CERTIFICATES
Membership in the GDCA or an Affiliate Club is required for all certificates. The following awards shall not have any specific time frame, may be given to Great Danes living or dead and must be accompanied by appropriate documentation. The dog’s AKC registered name and number, the registered names and numbers of offspring (when applicable), copies of AKC Certificates confirming any titles or copies of the AKC point progression report must accompany all request for awards. The owner, co-owner or breeder must request any duplicate awards. Members are asked to use the attached Awards Form when applying, and to ensure that all names that are to appear on the certificate are printed clearly and correctly spelled. The AKC offers a Certified List of Awards service. There is a single cost for the report regardless of how many certificates it takes to confirm all your dog’s wins, placements, and qualifying scores. This service is only available through certain years. A points progression report is also available on the AKC website. For further information contact:

Best In Show:
– Yearly Award Certificate for an All Breed BIS with additional stars for multiple BIS
High in Trial:
– Yearly Award Certificate for an All Breed HIT with additional stars for multiple HIT.
Top Junior Handlers:
– Yearly certificates are available to member Junior Handlers achieving Top Ten standing in given year.
Meritorious Service Award:
– Nomination of an individual or club must be made by a GDCA member, by vote of an Affiliate Club or by the GDCA Charitable Trust and submitted to the Awards Chair
Hall of Fame:
Any one or more of the following:
– A Conformation Championship and a UD, AX, AXJ, AXP, or any excellent level title or higher in any AKC companion or performance event.
– Completing any: OTCH, MACH, VCD3, CT, or RACH
– 10 All Breed Best In Shows.
– 20 Best In Specialty Shows.
– Sire of 30 Champions for Fawn/Brindle
– Sire of 15 Champions for Harlequin/Mantle/Black/Blue
– Dam of 10 Champions for Fawn/Brindle
– Dam of 5 Champions for Harlequin/Mantle/Black/Blue
– A score of 199 in any Obedience Trial
– Completing any: OTCH, MACH, VCD3
–100 Point Qualification: Combination of any of the below to reach 100 points
–5 points for any BISS or Group I’s, 10 points for any all breed BIS or any National Specialty BOBs
Register of Merit:
– Sire of 15 Conformation Champions
– Dam of 5 Conformation Champions
Honor Roll:
– Sire of 8 Conformation Champions
– Dam of 3 Conformation Champions
Versatility:
– A conformation AKC champion of record and any two other AKC awarded titles. For a complete list of AKC titles visit www.akc.org.
Venerable Great Dane:
– Great Danes of 10 years of age or older. Reasonable proof required.
Breeder’s Certificates:
– Given to the Breeder or Breeders of any Great Dane who has earned an AKC Conformation or Companion Event Title
