Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Great Dane Club of America.
Per Article I, Section 2.A.2:
Each application shall be accompanied by a check payable to the Club in the appropriate dues amount and the appropriate application fee, as specified on the application form. The application shall be signed by two (2) sponsors, not of the same household, both of whom shall be regular members in good standing of the Club for a minimum of two (2) years. Both sponsoring members shall be personally acquainted with the applicant for a minimum of two (2) years prior to the date of application, and these members shall be permitted to sponsor four (4) applicants per year.
Payment may be made via check with the application or via the GDCA Store.
Dues and application fees are as follows:
– Single Regular Membership: Dues (U.S. & Canada) $30.00 plus Application fee: $10.00 = TOTAL: $40.00
– Couples Regular Membership Dues (U.S. & Canada) $60.00 plus Application fee $10.00 = TOTAL: $70.00
– Single Foreign Membership: Dues $45.00 plus Application fee: $10.00 = TOTAL: $55.00 (US Dollars Only)
– Couples Foreign Membership: Dues $90.00 plus Application fee: 10.00 = TOTAL $100.00 (US Dollars Only)
– Junior Members: Membership Dues $15.00 plus Application fee: $10.00 = TOTAL $25.00
Incomplete applications will not be processed, you will be contacted via email regarding any missing items on your application. When the application is complete, your check will be deposited, and you will be published in the next quarterly GDCA Bulletin. Acceptance of payment does not guarantee membership in the GDCA. The Board will act on your application at their meeting following publication and you will be advised of their action.

NOTE: No unsigned correspondence regarding an application will be considered.
Membership applications are gathered on a quarterly basis. Deadlines are as follows: January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 of each year. Completed applications received prior to these dates will move forward at that quarters’ Board Meeting. Those received after the deadline will be held for the next quarters’ Board Meeting.
